Joe & Angie War Shirt and Tradition Collection Artists Native American artist Angie and her husband Joe (both of Cherokee Indian descent), are known for their authentic museum quality reproduction artifacts. They are proud of their Cherokee Indian heritage and craft their Indian reproduction artifacts in the traditional ways of the ancestors of the specific tribe represented. Joe and Angie add an extraordinarily authentic touch of age appearance to their creations with an “effects method” which they specifically developed. They use quality materials and consciously use only non-endangered species for the natural portions of their creations. Angie has been involved in her art work from a very young age. She spent many years both in and out of the United States studying with indigenous people groups. She has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Her musical rattle creations have been used by many individuals and musicians including Carlos Naki.
Whether simple or complex, large or small, each piece is hand crafted with the same artistic quality and Native American pride. Joining talents with her artistic husband Joe, they proudly offer totally handmade collectible reproduction artifacts. Each is “One-of-a-Kind” and has its own distinctive appearance. All of the products used in their artifacts are gathered and acquired by them personally.
In addition to the Lakota Tradition Collection shown on this site, they are widely known for their wide selection of museum quality artifacts ~ pipes, rattles, spirit chasers, and a variety of painted hides and skulls.
